Bringing Balance to the Wellness Sector

Last year we campaigned to #PressForProgress in the health care of women living with fibroids.  In partnership with Lake Health and Wellbeing, we reached women and organisations across the globe who supported our key messages.

This year we’re joining the International Women’s Day celebrations to send out our key message to ‘bring balance to the wellness sector’.   Whilst the global theme for International Women’s Day (IWD) 2019 is #BalanceForBetter, a call-to-action for a more gender-balanced world through collaboration, we’re taking the opportunity to celebrate women of African and Caribbean heritage working in the health and wellness sector.

Our growing wellness network welcomes wellness practitioners from a plethora of sectors, including Personal Care, Beauty and Anti-Aging, Healthy Eating, Nutrition and Weight Loss, Fitness and Mind-Body, Preventative and Personalized Medicine and Public Health, and Traditional and Complementary Medicine to name a few.

To help our network members create more visibility and highlight their forthcoming events for our followers and subscribers, we’ll be celebrating our amazing sisters for the rest of March!  If you know an extraordinary wellness practitioner who is improving the health and wellness of the African and Caribbean community, please tag or share this with them.  We’d love to connect!
